Check out this wrought iron curule style chairs. We believe that they were made in the early 20th century, but inspired by portable throne chairs, popularized by the one and only Julius Caesar. Armrests are decorated with forged bronze lion finials. Backrests, also donning decorative bronze finials. The original iron frame was painted white, at some point.

This chair was upholstered in the 1960s, with striped velvet fabric. Upholstery is in fragile condition, because of general use and age.
