The Broyhill Furniture Co. introduced their futuristic “Brasilia” series, at the 1962 World’s Fair in Seattle, Washington. The design was inspired by the architecture of Oscar Niemeyer. Stylistically you can see similar sweeping parabolic shapes, noticeable in the buildings designed by the famed architect. Each piece of furniture is constructed of solid walnut, with accompanying Modernist brass hardware.
Condition: Wear is consistent with use and age. Very light scratching to top. Wear to edges
