This hutch was handmade in 1910, by gentleman-cabinet maker Herman Junge. He lived in Cambridge, Maryland. This piece was stick built out of Marsh Oak, which was prevalent in that area. Stylistically the piece pays homage to his German heritage, with Black Forest inspired deer carvings. The craftsman  included his initials “HJ” as a decorative element, flanking both sides of the mirror .

Picture included of the Herman

Approximately 57.5” Width x 102” Total Height

Condition: This piece is approximately 112 years old, therefore it has been lovingly used. Scratches to the surface overall. One diamond shaped mirror missing on upper right side. Some losses to deer relief on one side. Open work top plaque has some losses.
