This rug is gorgeous. Embodying centuries of traditional artistry, Turkmen rugs make a unique and captivating addition to any space. We believe that this rug is about 80 years old. It has a slight sheen to it, eluding that it is composed of a silk blended wool.
Turkeman rugs are traditionally woven in Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Northern Afghanistan and modern day Iran.
Light wear, consistent with age. One corner has a loss (see photo).
